Come join us this October 8th, as we celebrate Living Healthy in Coweta.

Events will take place all morning long at Newnan Utilities Carl Miller Park.

The morning will start off with a 5K road race. Those running/walking the 5K course will begin at the Park, and then follow streets through picturesque Newnan, the ‘City of Homes’.

Next will be the 1K fun run. Those participating in the 1K can enjoy the fall scenery as they run/walk the paved paths within the Park.

The Awards Ceremony and Post Race Celebration will then commence. Join in the fun as we honor those with the fastest times, and the best purple/dragonfly costumes.

There will also be sponsor booths set up around the Park, as the backbone of the Community Health Fair. Come visit all the various businesses, learn about their services and products, and see how they can help you ‘Live Healthy’.

Be sure to bring along your appetite, as there will be various food trucks lined up to serve you in the Park’s front parking lot. So grab the family and check out all the yummy food choices! We are grateful for their participation; they have all generously agreed to donate 25% of proceeds back to the Community Welcome House.
